- Digital X-Rays: Many of us are used to dental x-rays being printed onto a sheet of specialized paper and examined with the use of a backlight, but now with digital x-rays, that is a thing of the past. A digital x-ray allows that map of your teeth to be seen and manipulate in a program that has a number of tools. The digital x-ray also provides as much as 80% less radiation than a standard x-ray. Best of all, digital x-rays reduces the need for traditional impressions. No more goop in your mouth!
- Rotary Endodontics: Endodontics, or what is more commonly known as a root canal, is where the roots or serves of a tooth are removed. Rotary endodontics performs the root canal using a specific electrical handpick. This tool usually makes the procedure faster and allows the dentist to perform with more ease.
- Intraoral Camera: This special camera is exactly what it sounds like, a tool to see parts of your mouth that may have been out of sight a few years back. The camera gives Dr. Koren the ability to see the entire mouth through a camera so he can see things more enlarged and accurate to keep you safe and healthy. The patient will even be able to see the image we see in real time and these images are also excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies.
