He took a comprehensive approach-- he laid out options and recommendations for me and explained the problems with delaying the inevitable dental work. When he realized that I was avoiding the necessary decisions (due to anxiety), he not only recommended but also attended my appointments with the oral surgeon to conference on the best plan of action and to make sure I was comfortable and had all the information I needed. Although other specialists are involved , Dr. Koren is leading me through the process. He attended my surgery and is now guiding me through the other procedures until he can begin his part.
